While the location near Aksaray tram station was super convenient for exploring Istanbul, my stay at Lal Hotel was pretty disappointing overall. The room was small and had some serious cleanliness issues, especially in the bathroom. Plus, the breakfast was super basic and repetitive, which didn't help the experience either.

The Lal Hotel's location is fantastic, just a short walk from the tram that takes you around Istanbul, but that’s about where the good stuff ends. My room was pretty small and honestly not the cleanest. The bathroom had rust and mold, which was a bit of a deal-breaker for me. Breakfast was the same boring spread every day, and I found the Wi-Fi connection pretty unreliable outside the lobby.
